And from 2009 to 2010 senior teacher Iskandarov U headed the department. And from 2010 to 2013 – Candidate of Technical Sciences ., from 2013 2014 performed the responsibilities of the head was A.T. Abdullayev, Senior teacher U. U. Iskandarov managed from 2014 to 2016. N.M. Juraev managed in 2016-2018, Later was rulled the chair by O.X Kuldashev again during a year(2018-19),
Since march of 2019th year the department was reorganized as “Telecommunication Engineering”. Since September of 2019, the head of the department has been working Dr. Philosophical Sciences Rayimjonova O.S. In the process of its activities, the department has a cooperation with the Fergana branch of J-SC “Uzbektelecom”, Andijan, Namangan branches of the Uzbektelecom, with the center of electromagnetic compatibility, the Andijan TV and Engineering Center, a branch of TTN-2, the Fergana technical school of transport and service, an academic lyceumlice in the Fergana branch of TITU. Currently, the department has more than 24 disciplines for undergraduate students “5350100-telecommunication technologies”, “5330500-computer engineering”, “5330600-software engineering”, “5350400 – vocational training in the field of information technology”, “5330,300 – information security” . and undergraduates 5A350101- Telecommunication engineering in 4 subjects. The department has achieved a combination of the processes of the educational system and production. The joint work of teachers with extensive experience in the work and young teachers with an interest for knowledge capable of scientific research, especially students, gives good results in the development of new innovative techniques and technologies. The department is responsible for the preparation of young specialists in the direction of undergraduate “5350100-Telecommunication technologies”. Graduates of these directions of undergraduate work in all sectors of the economy, especially in the field of telecommunications, and contribute to the development of our country. The material and technical base of the department from year to year is strengthened. Currently, the department has modern stands and equipment from St. Petersburg of Russia for practical and laboratory work on such disciplines as “Electronics and schemes”, “Introduction to the design of digital devices”, “Network Protocols”, “Internet of Things (IoT) “,” Fundamentals of network programming “,” Networks and data transmission systems “,” Multimedia communication networks “,” New generation convergent networks”,” Design of telecommunication networks and structures “,” Systems and processing of signals”,”New generation networks “, “Volumetric Television Technology”, “Multiservice Architecture of Mobile Network”, “Metrology, standardization and certification”, “Fundamentals of Telecommunication Network Management”, “Software Oriented Networks”, “Modeling Telecommunication Networks and Systems”, “Wireless Networks”, “Multiservice Networks based on IMS” and others. There are many devices and equipment brought from enterprises. The department also has a wide range of scientific works and research. In 2019, the professor of the department Raymjanova O. S. defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Improving gas flow parameters for control systems and management” under the leadership of Y.G.Sipulin (professor of the Tashkent State Technical University). R.A.Nurddinova defended his doctoral dissertation “Development of a generator type photodetector” under The leadership of Professor FerPI Kasimohunova A.M. Assistant Mamasodikov N.A. Works under the guidance of Professor I.X. Siddikov. (Tashkent State Technical University). She conducts research and development on the topic “Automated system for controlling the technological parameters of the oil production process.” Professors and teachers of the department are actively involved in republican and international seminars and conferences, as well as conduct research in the field of new innovative technologies. Department of Telecommunication Engineering prepares textbooks on 28 disciplines, lecture, practical and laboratory classes in accordance with modern requirements. And the information resource center will always be provided with the corresponding literature on these disciplines. All materials presented as an electronic and printed forms.
