All types of telephony, packet and switching transmission systems, high-speed and broadband telecommunication networks and communications are being studied in this area. They learn to provide customers with services such as Internet, telephony, television, using high-quality wired and fiber-optic communications.

This specialty trains highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel to increase the bandwidth of broadband networks used today in telecommunications systems, their convergence with other networks. Graduates of the master’s degree will be able to effectively carry out professional activities in the field of design, construction, operation and maintenance of telecommunication networks, as well as study the physical processes that ensure high-speed transmission of large amounts of data, and improve existing technical solutions.
